Where is the London Eye?

The London Eye is located on the South Bank of the river Thames, opposite to Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and next to the London Eye Pier. The ticket office is located inside County Hall, which is the building directly next to the London Eye.

How to get to the London Eye?

Please choose from the following for directions to the London Eye.

If you are taking a train to the London Eye, then Waterloo is the closest underground station to the attraction. Waterloo is about 5 minutes walking distance, located in zone 1 and well connected by Bakerloo line (brown), Jubilee line (grey), Northern line (black) and Waterloo and City line (turquoise). Exit the station following signs for the South Bank.
Other stations close to the London Eye include Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster which are all within easy walking distance.
Embankment and Charing Cross stations are close together on the north side of the River Thames. Both tube stations are a 10 - 15 minute walk to reach The lastminute.com London Eye. From the station, cross over Hungerford Bridge.
Westminster tube station is the closest station to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. From Westminster tube station, take exit one and follow signs for Westminster pier.

The closest rail stations to The lastminute.com London Eye are Waterloo and Charing Cross.
Waterloo is the nearest train station to the London Eye, just a 5-minute walk away. Take exit for the south bank and follow the signs. You can also use the Sidings entrance, which has shops, food, and entertainment. To find this entrance, walk straight from the London Eye and cross the A3200 road.
Charing Cross is about a 15-minute walk. Simply cross over Hungerford Bridge to reach the London Eye.
Travelling by National Rail?
Guests planning to travel by train to our attractions can visit National Rail to find their nearest train station and plan their journey.

On the day of your visit, present your attraction tickets along with your train tickets at the door and enjoy your visit!

If you're taking a bus to the London Eye, buses that stop close to the attraction include: 1, 12, 59, 68, 76, 77, 139, 148, 159, 168, 176, 188, 211, 243, 77 and 381, 507, 521.
The London Eye is on most London sightseeing bus tours and on the RV1 route that connects The London Eye to other London attractions, including the Tate Modern and Covent Garden.
London Eye is also on the red route of the hop on hop off sightseeing open top bus tour by Big Bus Tour London. You can purchase tickets here or visit the journey planner from Transport of London (TFL).

The London Eye is located next to the London Eye Pier. There are a number of services which stop off at The London Eye Pier travelling from the O2, Bankside, Embankment, Blackfriars, London Bridge, Tower, Canary Wharf, Hilton Docklands, Masthouse Terrace, Greenwich, Royal Arsenal Woolwich, St. Katherine's or Westminster Piers.

If bringing a group by coach, you have 15 minutes to drop off and 15 minutes to pick up your group. You are not permitted to use the coach parking bays whilst your group visits The lastminute.com London Eye.
