Coca-Cola London Eye reveals that you can’t hurry love!

- Press Release
Surprisingly, it is the fairer sex who is the key culprit – with 69% of women admitting to being tardy, as opposed to 66% of men. And of those guilty of eleventh-hour expressions of love, Londoners top the late list with 70.9%. In fact, less than 1% of the population pay for their gift a month in advance.
To tackle the tardiness and help the lovestruck but late get organised for Valentine’s Day, the London Eye is offering a unique range of romantic experiences and will also be giving away a dazzling diamond, courtesy of The Diamond Store, via its Wall of Love. The interactive social media display will invite visitors to share Valentine’s Day messages in exchange for the perfect present of a diamond, as well as other prizes.
Guests can share their amour by sending in images and tweets, which will then be showcased on the Wall of Love. To help create the perfect romantic photographs to share, a basket of fun Valentine’s Day props will be available within the capsule for those booking a Champagne Experience. Guests who share their stories on the Wall of Love can make this Valentine’s the most memorable yet, as they will be in with the chance to win the diamond prize.
London Eye spokesperson, Stephanie Francis comments: “The London Eye is one of the most romantic destinations in the world and offers a range of packages for romantics including our popular Cupid’s capsules. But we know that busy Brits in general and late Londoners in particular are hard pressed to get everything in place for Valentine’s Day. So we’re delighted to be able to offer a variety of romantic experiences this year to help visitors share the love and – if they’re lucky – pick up the perfect present.”
