London Eye’s loft-y new apartment plan

The capsule homes will rotate 48 times a day at a stately 26cm per second offering an enviable postcode, shared by neighbours including Queen Elizabeth II and David Cameron.

Residents will be served Champagne on request and will have access to a personal pillow fluffer to ensure their heads really do feel in the clouds. Arrangements for electricity, phone and postal services are currently in discussion.

Stephanie Francis, London Eye spokesperson said: “The London Eye was originally set to be temporary, but is now here to stay – we wanted to offer the same opportunity for our biggest fans. With huge demands for property in London, we felt it only right to convert our top two capsules into luxury penthouses. We expect interest to be very high.”
