London Eye Entry and Queuing Times
Please be advised, all tickets must be pre-booked online in advance. Entry for those arriving on the day without a ticket cannot be guaranteed.
When visiting the London Eye, some queuing is to be expected. Your ticket's designated time marks your queue entry time.
For a quieter experience, we recommend opting for early morning entry or heading in later toward closing time. During busier periods like weekends and school holidays, longer wait times might occur for London Eye boarding. To bypass long wait times, consider upgrading your visit with Fast Track tickets available here.
On arrival
- If you hold a Standard Entry ticket, please proceed to Entrance A at the time indicated on your ticket.
- For those with Fast Track tickets, please head to Entrance F at the designated time on your ticket.

- Regarding the River Cruise, please make your way to boarding point 2 at The London Eye Pier, ensuring arrival no later than 15 minutes prior to the time specified on your ticket.
- E-tickets, To make sure you can access your e-tickets at all times, screenshot them or add them to your phone's wallet. This will create a backup copy of your tickets that you can access even if you have poor phone signal or your internet connection is down.
Groups
For larger groups, we kindly request that you arrive at The London Eye and The London Eye River Cruise at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled booking time. This will help facilitate a seamless boarding process.
Before joining the queue, please make sure your entire group is assembled together.
For groups exceeding 28 individuals at The London Eye, be prepared to be split across multiple pods. To expedite the boarding process, we recommend determining group assignments for specific pods before joining the queue.
For school groups, please ensure that each pod is accompanied by a teacher.
Plan your visit
Pushchairs or Buggies
- The London Eye - You can bring your buggy/pushchair on the London Eye, but it must be fully closed or folded before boarding. It must remain closed or folded during the entire experience and until you have left the offloading platform.
- The London Eye River Cruise - You can bring your buggy/pushchair on the London Eye River Cruise without folding it. However, buggies cannot be taken upstairs on the River Cruise.
We have a buggy bay in the left luggage section of our ticket office. If you have a London Eye ticket, you will be able to leave your buggy/pushchair for free, however, due to our bag policy at the London Eye, you will need to remove or pay for the storage of any large bags.
Binoculars & Guidebooks
For guests who have pre-purchased binoculars or the London Eye guidebook alongside their tickets, please make sure to pick up these items upon your arrival at the London Eye. We kindly ask that you refrain from joining the queue until you've collected them.
Your pre-purchased London Eye binoculars or guidebooks can be collected from our Iconic Gift Shop, as shown in the image below.
Please note that the Souvenir Photo Package will be available for collection after you've completed your visit.
VIP Check-in
If you have secured a VIP Experience or included a drink add-on in your booking, please make your way to the VIP desk within our ticket office before joining the queue line.
For experiences like the Champagne Experience, Cupid's Pod, Private Pod Drinks, or the Eye Lounge Experience, kindly check in at the VIP Desk at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled booking time.
Should you arrive ahead of time, we invite you to savor a drink while taking in the breathtaking views of the River Thames at our exclusive champagne bar, The Eye Lounge!

Prohibited items
The safety and security of our guests and team is our top priority, visitors will be subjected to bag and personal belonging checks prior to entry.
Certain items are prohibited from entering the London Eye. For further information regarding prohibited items, please refer to this link.
Please be aware that large bags, suitcases, or rucksacks, are not allowed on the London Eye. To assist you, a left luggage facility is available in the London Eye ticket office, offering storage for large bags at a fee of £5 per item. Please ensure that all luggage is collected by 7pm as an overnight charge applies.
Health and Safety
To ensure a positive shared guest experience on a Pod, some items are restricted. No hot food or alcoholic beverages are allowed onto The London Eye.
All guests who board the London Eye and the London Eye River Cruise must be fully clothed. Guests cannot be shirtless and must wear shoes. This rule also applies to children.
Guests are not permitted to stand on the top deck of the London Eye River Cruise once the Cruise has started.
Booking in time slots
Anyone wishing to visit, including Passholders will need to pre-book a ticket online in advance. Find your ticket type below for instructions.
When booking online, you will be required to choose a time slot.
If you hold a London Eye standard ticket - Your ticket's designated time marks your queue entry time.
For River Cruise entry only - Your booking time is the River Cruise departure time. Please arrive at boarding point 2 on the Pier at least 15 minutes before your River Cruise booking time.

You have 90 days to visit the London Eye after your River Cruise visit. However, if you would like to do both in one day, we recommend booking your time slots in advance as availability is subject to change.
If you've booked a visit to multiple London attractions, you have booked a date and time for your lead attraction only*.
Please ensure you log into your account and book a free timed-entry ticket before you visit each attraction, all you need is the confirmation number and email address used for the ticket order.

You have 90 days to visit the other attractions included in your ticket after visiting the lead attraction. We recommend booking your time slots in advance, as availability is subject to change.
Big Bus
Big Bus tickets do not require timed entry. You can simply show your ticket at any time within 90 days of visiting your lead attraction.
*Lead attraction is the first attraction named in the pass, i.e. London Eye is the lead attraction for London Eye + Madame Tussauds
